Minas Ceylin (born as Mustafa Tamer Sağır) is a versatile artist who graduated from Istanbul University with degrees in Turkish Language and Literature as well as Journalism. He continues to produce works in music and literature, while also working as a writer and strategist in the advertising industry. His musical journey began in middle school with training in Classical Turkish Music and classical guitar. During his high school and university years, he took a step toward professionalism by forming rock bands. Among these, the most prominent was the band Eflatun, in which he served as guitarist, backing vocalist, and songwriter.
In literature, his poems and essays have been published in prominent literary journals such as Varlık, Yasakmeyve, Akatalpa, Edebiyat Ortamı, and Karakalem, as well as in newspapers like BirGün, Taraf, and Radikal. He has published two poetry books: Kırçıl (Komşu Publishing, 2011) and Arabın Şeyi (Noktürn Publishing, 2013).
In his music career, he released one of Turkey’s first trip-hop albums, Sen Duy Diye (2015), under his real name Tamer Sağır. Under the name Minas Ceylin, he released two albums: Kaybolursam Şarkı Söyle (2020) and Hep Acı Tektim (2021), along with over ten singles. In the last five years, he has performed DJ sets in several European cities, including Belgrade, Podgorica, Berlin, and Cologne.
He has also contributed to the repertoires of other artists by writing songs for them. He currently lives in Podgorica, Montenegro, where he continues his multidisciplinary artistic work.
